Nepal 2002

In October, 2002 my brother (John) and I
travelled to Nepal and visited the capital city
Kathmandu. We then flew to Lukla airport in
the Everest region where we hiked for three
weeks with Worldwide Expeditions. Our trek
took us over 3 passes, each at least 5400 metres
in altitude. We also climbed above and looked
down on Everest Base Camp. On the way back
we both stopped in Thailand for some well
deserved relaxation. I am including my photos
from Kathmandu and the trek and also photos
taken by my brother, John.
