I recently spent two weeks on Ellesmere Island
in the Canadian High Arctic. The trip began in
Ottawa where I joined a wonderful group of
people from Whitney and Smith Expeditions
and we flew from there to Resolute Bay in
Nunavut. (This is the second most northerly
community in Canada). The next day we flew
several hours further north to Alexander Fjord
on the East Coast of Ellesmere Island in the area
of the Kane Basin. We spent the next two
weeks kayaking, camping and marine viewing in
the area. We even had lunch on an ice floe and
saw multiple seals, walrus and narwhal before
returning to Resolute, Iqaluit and finally Ottawa.
I've also included some photos from a trip to
Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar taken in late
2004. There are also photos from London and
Paris and some photos from a trip to Mexico
City taken in November, 2004. There are also
photos from previous trips to New York City,
some of which were taken by my brother,
Joseph. As well, there are some older photos
from trips to Nepal (Kathmandu and Everest
Region) and Peru (The Inca Trail).
Finally there's a link to a site promoting my
home city of Winnipeg.
Hope you enjoy them!
